We awakened this morning to our first snow of the season. It was only about 1/4 of an inch. I told the kids I wish that this would be the maximum snowfall for every snowstorm this winter. Hmmm......not likely.
One if my favorite sights after any snow- or rainfall is that first glimpse of Mount Shasta.
As I mentioned yesterday, I am creating a photo journal of the mountain this year and that I started this in September. I thought it would be a fun use of this iPhone.
Here are several photos taken at the same place today at several different times. I usually snapped two each time.
Blessings,
Chari
P.S. Willa? Did you get any snow today?
........also, if anyone has a moment to pray for a special intention of mine....please do! I promise to reimburse!
GORGEOUS! Northern California doesn't get enough credit for its sheer beauty and commanding landscapes.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, dear
God paints wonderous pictures quite regularly in Northern California!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the blessings, Mary!
Beautiful! We got our first snowfall today as well. Always brings a smile to my face.
ReplyDeletebtw, have you set your RSS feed to publish full feed? Because I am only picking up excerpts on my Google Reader. Full feed would be great!
Thanks for letting me know, Theresa! I will try to see if I can alert Willa to this...she is in charge of that stuff. Even though I can probably figure it out, it hurts my brain.
ReplyDeleteAlaska, right??? Seems like lots of North American folks got a bit of snow this week!
I *think* I fixed it, Theresa. I'm going to check it out tomorrow (today!) on my reader.
ReplyDeleteI got snow, too -- and we are supposed to get more tomorrow. Here it's about 3 inches so far I think. Beautiful mountain pictures, Chari!
It is snowing right now!
ReplyDeleteYou did it, Willa! I got the full feed today!
