(This photo was taken on this very day, in 2022 -- Chari and I went on an impromptu trip to the coast together. It was the beginning of Lent! And the last time we've seen each other in person -- wow, 3 years ago...)
--------------------
For today, I think I will collect past Lent-focused posts from TUAR. The list is not long. I'll try to keep it in chronological order. There may be some posts that I missed.
- Thinking of the Lenten Season, February 2012. This was Chari. It's possible some of the links are obsolete -- I haven't checked them -- but the ideas are good ones.
- Prayers for the Lenten Season, February 2012. Chari again. She collected some beautiful prayers from different sources.
- History of Lent, February 2012. Chari quotes Dom Prosper Gueranger's classic The Liturgical Year. Little did she know that about a decade later her co-blogger would become an oblate at a daughter house of the Solesmes Congregation, which Gueranger restored in the 19th century. I just recently read his unfinished memoirs.
- The Ribbons of Lent. Also from 2012 (March). Chari shares a creation inspired by Gae of Cherished Hearts at Home. She also shares photos of her home altar, which I miss seeing : (. It has been too long since we've had a visit.
- What I'm Reading for Lent, February 2012. Interesting to see what I was reading back then. I said I had found a draft of Chari's with that title, but I don't know if she ever finished the post and published it. It's good I wrote the Lent book posts, otherwise this links would be almost all Chari's work.
- Reading for Lent, February 2013. This was me -- I mentioned plans to read Counsels of Perfection for Christian Mothers. We actually both read the book that year. If you are interested, the link takes you to the chapter by chapter links.
- Blogging for Lent, March 2014. This was a cricket post, not really a Lent post. Neither of us had been posting much.

(Cows behind our house, for Chari -- there are 6. The black and white one is new. They are waiting for their owner to bring them food -- no Lenten fasting for them).
