  1. Trying to get more technical and succeed at posting with my own name.
Anyhow. Loved the pics and the concept. We have a 19 and 10 year old both girls. I'd love to catch them snuggling.

    1. I am Anne from Grand Rapids Michigan. I have been following from the periphery Willa's blog site for a few years. I am a homeschool mother of ONLY 4, excused by the fact I got a late start at childbearing because I got married at 32, and we lost a few.

I am about to embark on a new journey in that I am graduating my oldest two children (16 months apart in age). My family size will drop in half. I thought I was prepared until my 17 and 355 day old son submitted his Eagle Scout packet and I realized I won't be going to the Boy Scout shop or office again. Nostalgia is beginning to hit. Both children are going out of state to Catholic colleges. Life is tidying up.

So to answer your question, I don't think we have meet. But we are kindred spirits. You can NOT imagine how much I LOVE your picture posts. I would love to live in the mountains but can not-- but my heart does!

    2. Hi Anne,

I ONLY had 3 live children after age 32 (I lost a couple in addition to that). Those are the same three still at home, come to think of it. Graduating half the kids really changes the feel of the family dynamics, doesn't it?

So glad to "meet" you -- especially if you have been a reader for so long on my other blog!

My boys don't do much snuggling -- except the younger two still sometimes cuddle with me or their big sister Clare. Maybe your children have a different love language than touch? Families can vary quite a lot in that regard -- my kids bond by playing games together, or making up funny stories, and by looking out for each others' best interests -- they are more Quality Time in their love language : )
